About Identity Phone
Identity Phone is being developed by Johannes Wiedemann in Möttingen, Germany. It is meant for companies whose staff are targeted by voice clones, CEO fraud and caller ID spoofing – executives, finance, HR and IT support.
The product is in development; companies can join the early-access waitlist. Features that are not available yet are labelled as planned on this site.
Who is behind it
Johannes Wiedemann founded Identity Phone and is responsible for the product, the free audio check and every article on this site. Identity Phone is not a subsidiary of a larger company; the legal details are in the imprint.
How our articles are written
- Johannes Wiedemann chooses the topics, writes the articles together with an AI language model and edits the result. AI helps with research, structure and wording; the decision what gets published stays with a person.
- Facts are checked against publicly available sources such as authorities, manufacturers and research papers. We do not invent statistics, customers or performance figures.
- Articles are revised when the facts change; the date of the last update is shown on each article.
- English, German, Spanish and French versions are edited individually. All other languages are machine translations of the English text and are marked as such on every article.
- Our articles are general information, not legal or financial advice. If you have already paid or shared access data, contact your bank and the police immediately.
